Weather does play a factor, the urethane used to secure windshield will not attach to wet surface.
Ideal temp for doing auto glass is 20 C/ 70 F +
This can be done as low as 5 degrees, but will take much longer for the adhesive to dry.
Excessive cold, glass with contract slightly, but will expand When it warms up, this could break the seal. Making sure it’s not too cold is important, glass is warm is important. It can help if you leave car running with defrost on while changing glass and for an hour or so after to help adhesives Dry / Harden Allowing more time after done, before driving car.
